Who Waits Till 11pm for News and Weather? October 7th, 2008

Driving home today I heard a local tv station promote on the radio that they will have the top stories and weather forcast in the first 5 minutes of their 11 o’clock news.

Really?

Left me wondering who today waits till 11pm to get the news of today and weather forecast for tomorrow?

Today we can practicallly bring up weather on any device at anytime, and news we can just visit online when we want. Is there really a market for people that can’t wait till 11 for news and weather? Plus more than likely the news at eleven is identical to the news you could have read online before you left the office, and probably the forecast too.
